3E Consultants Announces Merger with Apex Environmental and Additions in Company Ownership
Orlando, FL - 3E Consultants, an ecological environmental engineering firm, announces their merger with Apex Environmental Engineering and Compliance, Inc, on January 1, 2009. Together these companies will operate under the 3E Consultants, Inc. name, headquartered in Orlando, Florida. 3E services a wide range of private, municipal and federal clients, providing health and safety, training, environmental assessment and remediation, environmental compliance, industrial and waste management, and ecological services not only in Florida but servicing national and international clients as well. 3E has offices throughout central Florida in Orlando, Cocoa, and Tampa. The five partner firm is lead by Maurice Pearson, President. 3E is a certified Minority Business Enterprise with Orange County, a Disadvantaged Business with the Florida Department of Transportation, a Local Developing Business and Minority Business Enterprise with the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, a Minority Business Enterprise with Osceola County, and 3E is a certified SBA-8(a) firm.
The five Partners all bring an abundance of qualified experience to the firm. Maurice leads the team as principal and president of 3E. He has been involved in managing natural resources in the central Florida area since 1993. Dennis Theoret, P.G., principal and vice president at 3E, has 21 years of environmental experience. Dennis was a founding principal of 3E's predecessor company, Apex Environmental Engineering and Compliance, Inc. He has provided program management, project management, and technical expertise on geologic and hydrogeologic efforts for soil and ground water. Chris Parent, principal and vice president for 3E, has been in the environmental engineering field for 16 years. Like Dennis, Chris is also a founding principal of Apex Environmental Engineering and Compliance, Inc. He has served as program manager for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control environmental and safety projects since 1997. Additionally, he has been a key participant in assessment programs for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors and various manufacturing facilities. Michael Orcino, P.E., principal and vice president for 3E, has provided program management, project management, QA/QC, technical expertise, and health and safety management for federal, state, and private sector clients nationwide. Paul Seavy, P.E., principal and vice president of 3E, has over 22 years experience in providing remedial construction and O&M related services to both governmental and private clients.
3E Consultants Wins U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District Continuing Environmental Services Contract
Orlando, FL - 3E Consultants was recently awarded a $5 million contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District to provide environmental support to military, civil, and federal agencies worldwide. 3E will be required to perform services at federal/military projects nationwide and internationally. Under the contract, 3E will provide environmental compliance and assessment, pollution prevention, conservation, planning, permitting and technical support, environmental management systems, environmental baseline surveys, audits and assessments, planning studies and evaluations, and geographic information system support.

Ashley Signorelli

Ashley Signorelli, EI joins the 3E team as an experienced environmental engineer. Her assessment experience includes horizontal and vertical contamination plume delineation of various contaminants, with extensive knowledge of FDEP SOP application. Her engineering experience includes design, installation, operation, troubleshooting, and computer modeling for groundwater systems and treatment processes. Mrs. Signorelli´s experience also includes underground storage tank removal, tank closure assessment, Level I and II contamination screening evaluations, and Phase I and II Environmental Assessments.
